HUMAN PERFORMANCE & WELLBEING

Insight +
Action = ∞

The hardest part of leadership isn't always knowing what to do. It's understanding why you keep doing something else.

Through private, three-month cohorts of up to five people, we help leaders, founders, and executives develop the capacity for sustained performance.

A 20-MINUTE EXPLORATORY CALL. NO PITCH.

01 / WHY IT MATTERS

Your company depends on people.
Your people depend on their capacity.

Organizations invest in strategy, technology, training, and growth. Yet the people responsible for making those investments work are often operating under extraordinary pressure. Their ability to think clearly, adapt, collaborate, and make good decisions is a business asset worth protecting.

01

Better judgment under pressure

Recognizing stress responses earlier creates more room for deliberate decisions instead of automatic reactions.

02

More sustainable performance

People can learn to manage energy, recovery, and attention without relying on the endless ability to push through.

03

Stronger working relationships

Greater self-awareness can improve difficult conversations, boundaries, collaboration, and trust.

04

Greater adaptability

When people understand their responses to uncertainty, they have more freedom to experiment, learn, and change course.

05

A meaningful investment in people

Private, personalized development demonstrates that the organization values the people behind its results.

06

A culture that grows from within

As participants practice new behaviors, they can influence how colleagues lead, communicate, and support one another.

A luxurious perk for your key employees.
Risk mitigation and loyalty for you.

02 / THE APPROACH

The executive blind spot: reading the business, missing your own signals.

FROM THE INDIVIDUAL TO THE CULTURE

01Notice
02Build capacity
03Reconnect to purpose
04Sustain success
05Shape culture

You track revenue, costs, customer expectations, and team dynamics. But the signals shaping how you respond—tension, fatigue, changes in energy—can be easier to overlook.

Under sustained pressure, those signals matter. Novarling starts with interoceptive awareness: learning to notice and interpret what is happening within your body.

Then we build practical skills to protect capacity, reconnect to purpose, and bring that awareness into how you lead.

What becomes possible?

  • Recognize emotional reactivity before it overrides good judgment.
  • Protect energy, attention, and recovery under pressure.
  • Sustain creative and strategic thinking.
  • Know when to delegate and when to hold responsibility.
  • Distinguish what you can influence from what is simply noise.
  • Stay connected to your values and purpose.

There's a reason we work in this sequence. It's difficult to sustain higher levels of performance when you're already running on depletion you haven't learned to recognize.

03 / THE ANNUAL PARTNERSHIP

One cohort at a time.
A stronger culture over time.

Novarling works with a small group of people inside your organization for thirteen weeks. Then we begin again with the next group. Over the course of a year, this high-touch, private experience reaches up to twenty individuals, helping build a shared foundation for wellbeing, resilience, and sustained performance.

For each participant

—A confidential personal wellbeing assessment
—An individualized capacity and wellbeing plan
—Eight private, 40-minute one-to-one coaching sessions
—Practical tools for recognizing stress and emotional responses
—Support for sustainable behavior change
—A personalized plan for continuing beyond the cohort

For your organization

—A full-day, on-site launch experience for local engagements
—Four thoughtfully selected quarterly cohorts
—Two organization-wide workshops each year
—Monthly leadership advisory conversations
—Anonymized, aggregate program insights where privacy permits
—A year-long partnership designed around your people and culture

Not another training initiative.

This is a private, sustained investment in the individuals your organization relies on. Rather than handing people another set of expectations, we give them space, guidance, and practical skills to understand themselves and respond more effectively to the demands of their work.

04 / THE INSIGHT DECK

A little insight. A different action.

Knowing what to do and actually doing it are two different things. These cards offer a small opportunity to notice a familiar pattern, ask yourself a better question, and try something different.

Choose a card. Turn it over. See what comes up.

INSIGHT + ACTION =↑GROWTH

The more pressure you feel, the more you may try to control.

Where might your need for control be limiting someone else's growth?

TRY THIS: Delegate one decision this week.

INSIGHT + ACTION =♥HEALTH

Being capable of pushing through doesn't mean it's always wise.

When did pushing through become your default response to fatigue?

TRY THIS: Notice your first signal of depletion today.

INSIGHT + ACTION =◇CLARITY

Avoidance can quietly consume more attention than the problem itself.

What are you avoiding because the answer might require a change?

TRY THIS: Write down the question you've been postponing.

INSIGHT + ACTION =ϟENERGY

Not every commitment deserves the same amount of your energy.

What is taking more energy than it's giving back?

TRY THIS: Identify one commitment you can reconsider.

INSIGHT + ACTION =✦COURAGE

The conversation you're avoiding may be harder in your imagination.

What might become possible if you said what needs to be said?

TRY THIS: Write the first honest sentence.

INSIGHT + ACTION =∞POSSIBILITY

The habits that brought you success may not be the ones you need next.

What would you try if you didn't have to keep proving yourself?

TRY THIS: Choose one small experiment.

05 / MEET THE FOUNDER

Heather Greene

I've spent my career building things. I also know what it costs when the person doing the building runs out of capacity.

THE STORY BEHIND NOVARLING

Experience changes your perspective.

Before founding Novarling, I spent years building brands, leading teams, raising capital, and navigating the extraordinary demands of entrepreneurship. As the founding CEO of Milam & Greene Whiskey, I helped build a company from the ground up, creating products, partnerships, experiences, and a national presence.

I know the exhilaration of creating something from nothing. I know the responsibility of being the person everyone turns to for an answer. And I know how easy it is to become exceptionally good at meeting the demands of a business while overlooking what those demands are doing to you.

My career has also taken me into communications, hospitality, education, and writing. I'm the author of Whiskey Distilled, a book recognized by The New York Times. Across these different worlds, one question has increasingly interested me: what allows people to perform brilliantly without sacrificing themselves in the process?

That question led me to health and wellbeing coach training at Duke University, and ultimately to Novarling. Today I bring together the practical perspective of someone who has led under pressure with an evidence-informed approach to self-awareness, behavior change, and sustainable performance.

I believe people can become better at what they do without becoming less of who they are.

06 / TRUST & CONFIDENTIALITY

Real change requires room to be honest.

Novarling is designed to give participants a private space to explore the pressures, patterns, and challenges that may be difficult to discuss at work.

Participation is voluntary. Individual coaching conversations remain confidential, subject to applicable legal and ethical exceptions. Employers do not receive individual session notes or personal disclosures.

Where useful and appropriate, organizations may receive high-level, anonymized observations about program participation and themes, with safeguards to avoid identifying individuals in small groups.

Trust isn't an added feature. It's fundamental to the work.
